Light in the hand. Made for real branches.
A 15 cm cutting chain on a compact brushless body that weighs about 1 kg. Hold it firmly, keep your free hand well clear of the chain and let the chain do the work. Click in a battery, press the safety lock, squeeze the trigger. That's the whole start-up.
Battery. Lock. Cut.
No fuel, no pull-cord, no fiddly set-up. Add a few drops of chain bar oil and you're ready.
1Click in a battery
Slide a charged 18V battery into the handle. The second one charges while you work.
2Press the safety lock
The saw won't run until the lock is pressed, which helps prevent accidental starts.

Straight answers
What size branches can it cut?
It's built for pruning, not felling. The supplier rates it for branches up to about 15 cm, depending on the wood. Green branches, fruit trees, hedges, palm fronds and firewood suit it best. Very dense, dry hardwood is slower going, and for big trees or thick trunks a full-size saw or an arborist is still the right call.
I've never used a chainsaw. Is it safe?
It has a safety lock, so it won't run until you press it, plus a guard that stops chips flying back at you. It's still a chainsaw: wear eye protection and gloves, keep your free hand clear of the chain, cut below shoulder height, never cut from an unsteady ladder, and read the supplied instructions before first use. Keep it away from children.
How long does a battery last?
It depends on the wood and how hard you work it, and the supplier doesn't publish a tested figure, so we won't guess. You get two batteries, so one can charge while you use the other.
How do I get the free Yard Guide?
It's a digital PDF, included with every chainsaw order. The download link is in your order confirmation email, so you can read it on your phone or print it at home. Can't find it? Check your junk folder or email hello@auro-aus.com.au and we'll resend it.
Do I need chain oil?
Yes. A few drops of chain bar oil before you start keeps the chain cutting cleanly. Any standard chain bar oil from a hardware store works.
The chain feels loose. Is that normal?
A new chain stretches a little as it beds in. With the battery out, use the supplied tools to re-tension it until it sits snug on the bar but still pulls round by hand.
What jobs is it good for?
Pruning fruit trees and shrubs, branches over the fence or path, hedges, palm fronds, storm clean-ups, cutting green waste to bin size, and firewood for the fire pit or camp.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping is free, from Australian stock. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days, then delivery usually takes 5–12 business days depending on your location. Regional and remote areas can take longer. Tracking is emailed when it ships.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes. Contact us within 14 days of delivery; the item must be unused and in its original packaging. If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, email hello@auro-aus.com.au and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund under Australian Consumer Law.
